Background

I have been a Childline counsellor for a number of years, regularly working with children through challenging experiences to provide support and guidance. I have a deep appreciation of family dynamics and understand how change can impact family relationships. My empathetic and non-judgemental approach provides a safe environment to discuss options and proposals openly.  Hearing other perspectives is not always easy to do, but I strongly believe that through effective listening and successful communication, families can move on in a positive way.

Prior to becoming a mediator, I have worked in the Finance and Consulting sectors for 15 years. I graduated from the London School of Economics (LSE) and have studied areas of Indian philosophy at SOAS. I have strong skills in managing and resolving conflict and I am a natural problem-solver. My experience enables me to identify options and propose new ideas effectively. I am passionate about helping to resolve issues in a way that will work for everyone involved.

I have been involved in the Working Group for Diversity and Inclusive Practice in mediation, contributing to policy. Previously,  I have been a board member for the College of Mediators and I am currently a member for the Family Mediation Standards Board (FMSB).
